  I was on my dock Saturday 4/17 at Smith Mountain lake when I heard think loading humming noise that was on and off at about a 1 second frequency. Then I saw Dave Wolak's boat moving down the shoreline as he was casting parallel to the shoreline. This noise was loud enough that I thought maybe his trolling motor was damaged and making this noise, but could not tell what on his boat was making the noise. Is there some type of Triggering noise that Dave is using, or was there a malfunction with a pump, motor or something else wrong with the boat. There is no way he was sneaking up on anything with the humming noise. Very interesting and I am anxious to hear what was the source of the noise. Thanks, Brian
